Jeep has revealed its three new upcoming electric SUVs at the Jeep 4xe Day.
One of the them is Jeep Recon electric SUV which is inspired from the Wrangler.
Using Stellantis' STLA electric vehicle platform, the Jeep Recon will have off-road abilities similar to those of the Jeep Wrangler.
As per the company’s claim, It will be able to cross the Rubicon Trail, one of the toughest off-road trails in the United States.
It will come with all the trail-friendly equipment since it is an off-road-focused Jeep.
This will include the e-locker axle technology, strong underbody protection, and the Jeep Selec-Terrain traction management system.
The upcoming Jeep Recon electric SUV will also get tow hooks, a one-touch power roof and aggressive off-road tyres.
Inside the car, it will have the latest generation of Jeep’s Connect infotainment system that include detailed travel guides of popular overland trails, including the Rubicon Trail.
The Jeep Recon will be powered by the same powertrain which is used in Wagoneer S but it is expected to be slower.
The customers can pre-book the Jeep Recon from early 2023 and the production will start in 2024.
The upcoming Jeep Recon will be sold in North America as well as in Europe.
